SBI Clerk exam will be conducted in three stages. The three stages are Preliminary, Main and Personal Interview. The exam is going to be challenging and you have to crack it. Below is the topic wise weightage for SBI Clerk prelims.

There are 3 sections in Prelims exam. The sections are English language, Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude. As mentioned above, SBI has introduced new changes like sectional timing for Prelims exam. Sectional timing for English language is 20 minutes, for Reasoning is 20 minutes, for Aptitude is 20minutes. Total duration of exam is 1hour for Prelims exam.

  • In English language, the important weightage topics are Reading comprehension, Cloze test, Fill in the blanks, Para jumbles, Error spotting and correction. important. Make sure you don’t prepare any new topics in the last minute. Go through the topics which you have already studied. This will help you to get good score. Be confident about your preparation.
  • In reasoning, the important weightage topics are Number/ Alphabet series, Coding/decoding, Syllogism, Inequalities, Ranking test, Blood relationship, Directions, Arrangement and puzzles. The reasoning is a test to observe your mental and problem-solving ability. Reasoning section is the most scoring section in this exam.
  • In quantitative aptitude, the important weightage topics are
  • Number system
  • Simplification
  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Time, speed and distance
  • Geometry
  • Data interpretation.
you need to practice all the varieties of questions and need to learn some shortcut techniques to solve them. Quantitative aptitude section is bit challenging and time-consuming section.
