CTET is an entrance exam for teachers in India. This test is for candidates who are aspiring to be teachers. CTETnotification 2018 is out. Candidates can start applying for CTET 2018 from today on the official website https://ctet.nic.in/
This year’s CTET Test is the 11th edition examination that’s going to happen.
  • CTET 2018 Online Application starts – 1st August 2018
  • CTET 2018 Online Application ends – 27th August 2018
  • Online fee payment last date – 30th August 2018

Paper II
Entry time – 8.00 am
Test Commences – 9.30 am
Test Concludes – 12.00 pm
Paper I
Entry time – 12.30 pm
Test Commences –2.00 pm
Test Concludes –4.30 pm
Candidates are advised to be on time for both that papers .

  • CTET Exam will be in MCQ objective test
  • No negative marks
Paper I CTET is for candidates aiming to be teachers in Class I to V
Paper II CTET is for candidates aiming to be teachers in Class VI to VIII
YOU CAN APPEAR ON EITHER ONE PAPER OR FOR BOTH PAPER IF YOU WANT TO BROADEN YOUR CHOICE .
PAPER I CTET
  • This for Primary level teachers Class I to V
  • A total of 150 questions for 150 marks in 150 minutes
  • Every Section of the exam carries out equal marks and equal number of questions from the following sections –


  1. Child Development & Pedagogy
  2. Compulsary Language I
  3. Compulsary Language II
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environmental Studies
PAPER II CTET
  • This for Elementary level teachers Class I to V
  • A total of 150 questions for 150 marks in 150 minutes
  • First three Section of the exam carries out 30 marks and 30 questions and fourth and fifth section carrying 60 questions for 60 marks from the following sections –
