SSC CPO SYLLABUS AND EXAM PATTERN


The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has announced its recent notification relating to recruitment for sub-inspectors that begins with candidates appearing for an entrance test. The positions that are vacant under SSC are Sub-inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police, and CAPFs, Assistant SIs in CISF. The prelims are already done and now the candidates need to gear up for the mains. Here is the SSC CPO syllabus and pattern that should help you cope with the studying in an organized manner.

Expect the SSC CPO Exam to have of two stages–Paper 1 & Paper 2. After clearing the paper 1, you qualify to Stage 1; after which you will have to appear for a Physical Efficiency Test(PET). After you successfully qualify in PET/Medical you are then allowed to move ahead with appearing in Paper 2. That qualifies you to appear for interview.

The second paper that you need to appear post paper 1, and medical test will be majority of testing your English language skills.

  • Filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc)
