English Language: There are three topics in this section – Phrase Comprehension, Reading comprehension, and Error Spotting, with each carrying 10 marks each. . For grammar, you need to take care of your error spotting skills, sentence corrections, rearrangement of phrases etc. Making notes and keeping a tab of your errors, to begin with, will be a good idea. For reading comprehensions, read! Read more, and pick up more speed to read with accuracy. Also, for Vocabulary sign up yourself to good websites such as Merriam Webster’s ,and Oxford, which lets out one word a day for practice.

Also get a copy of Wren and Martin for grammar. Along with this book, you should also order for Word Power made Easy written by Norman Lewis, which is the best English book for practicing and getting adept with the use of English words and sentences. These books have the potential practice tests that will provide you with the apt kind of practice you need.

Quantitative Aptitude: Brushing up with your elementary and high-school math is where you need to begin with. Improve the speed in calculations with more practice. Having tables known up to 30 would be an added advantage. Analyse your strong topics in the subject and work more specifically for those topics. Reasoning: Reasoning has more of problem solving and analytic skills that you might need to work on and hone in much depth. With months of practice, you should be able to build concepts in less time. Start spending more time with puzzles such as Sudoku, Mind bender etc. You need to hone your logical thinking skills along with thinking critically as well. It might get time-consuming and lengthy at times but you need to keep track of your errors, as that might get repeated involuntarily. Continue learning and practicing more in this area, as this might take some time to bring it into practice.

Do not get stuck to a particular kind of question, and keep giving yourself a chance to go over others types. If you supposedly do get stuck to some particular kind of questions, then you should keep that as an option for flunking it. As all these questions carry negative marking, you need to sure of the topics you plan to cover. A couple of difficult questions can be left as an unattempt.
